World Cup 2010

Its a few days to go to the Football world cup and I really should be excited.I mean some of the worlds top athletes,sports men will be playing here in South Africa,but yet knowing that the amount of money the country has spent on making this happen will outweigh the positives so much.Its sad because that month of joy could end up with years of debt,heavy taxes and white elephant stadiums.
I sincerely hope that this wont be consequences of this big event,because instead of uplifting Africa it will stop the development.
2010 I hope this works out.

Nice warm day in Cape Town,got some time on hand to write something.Just joined 2 awesome chopping groups on deviantart and I have to say that its really amazing how many creative minds are out there.
Im not a professionally trained artist,but I think im not that bad for a self educated photoshopper.Wish I could find a job where I didnt have to go study 3 years or pay my butt off for fees to qualify using photoshop,maybe I should just open my own business mmmm....lol.
Anyhow I'm glad India beat South Africa in the cricket test,well done to Amla for trying his best to save the match and being a true role model unlike so many people who aren'

My brother has been a dA members for years. When one entered a contest with Union Pacific to remake their classic 1970's commercial I thought only other train fans would help vote for it. I have discovered that dA is a huge support group and everyone has been so generous to help. You may recognize my brothers' photos: his dA name is Ookami-Oni. He photographs architecture, nature, animals, and transportation, but when a contest with U.P. came along, he put his favorite train photos to their classic jingle.
